Hypomelanistic corn snakes lack black pigment in their coloration. The borders around the saddles which would be black in a normal coloured corn snake are much reduced.

Hypo is a recessive morph, so the gene must be present on both sides (mother and father) for the mutation to be reproduced.

Our Hypo girl is very bright, and was produced in 2010. She is also carrying the Anery gene, so we are going to pair her with our Ghost male in the hope that she will produce both hypo and ghost offspring.
